Annual Conference - September 30, 2003 - Sessions

James G. Keys; James G. Keys, Jr LLC, GCMCP Co-Chair welcomes attendees to the General Session .

SESSION ONE

Frederick R. Nance, Managing Partner, Cleveland Office of Squire Sanders & Dempsey presented to the attendees during the first session on the topic Recruitment, Retention and Rainmaking.

 

Robert R. Furnier, Furnier & Thomas and William Keating, Keating, Muething & Klekamp participated as panelist for the first session.
The attendees were engaged in the presentation by Mr. Nance and panel discussion, which followed.

SESSION TWO

Andrea Zopp, VP and General Counsel of Sears, Roebuck & Co. presented on the topic of Corporate Philosophy on Diversity at Work in Legal Departments.

 

The panel and moderator address questions from the attendees. 
Chris J. Wilson, Cincinnati Bell and David Lloyd, Jr., GE Aircraft Engines were panelists for the second session sharing their experiences and insight. The moderator and panelist engage the attendees. Dennis Broderick; Federated Department Stores, GCMCP Co-Chair and Bruce Gack, Kroger Company as panelists, respond to questions and share their extensive knowledge. 

SESSION THREE

Juan Perez, Perez & Morris presented on the topic of The 3 Principles of Survival for the Minority Firm: Competitiveness, Customer Service and Strategic Alliances.

 

The attendees listened attentively. The panel for session three consisted of Art Harmon, Harmon, Davis & Associates; John M. Williams, Delev & Williams; and Robin Jarvis, Robin A. Jarvis Co. LPA

SESSION FOUR
Patrick F. Fischer of Keating, Muething & Klekamp provided 1 hour of Ethics Continuing Legal Education.

The presentation was interactive involving the opinions of the attendees. Still a full house at the end of the day.
